AP Skin Cancellation Policy

AP Skin is a small appointment-based aesthetics business. Each appointment time is reserved especially for one client, so clear notice is needed if you have to cancel, reschedule or change your treatment.

Please read this policy before booking. By confirming an appointment, you agree to the notice, late-arrival, rescheduling and treatment-suitability terms set out below.

Notice period

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This gives AP Skin a fair opportunity to offer the time to another client, especially during launch periods when waiting-list demand may be high.

Late cancellations and no-shows

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without any notice, may require a deposit, prepayment or booking confirmation before a future appointment is accepted. Where a cancellation fee or deposit policy applies to a repeat booking, AP Skin will communicate this clearly before the booking is confirmed.

Deposits, prepaid treatments and packages

If a deposit, prepaid appointment or treatment package is introduced or agreed, any cancellation, rescheduling, expiry or transfer terms will be explained at the time of purchase or booking. Package appointments should be attended within the recommended treatment schedule where possible so results and safety can be managed appropriately.

Late arrival

If you arrive late, AP Skin will do its best to accommodate you. However, your treatment time may need to be shortened so the next client is not delayed. If there is not enough time to complete the treatment safely and properly, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be treated as a late cancellation.

Changing treatment on the day

If you decide to change your treatment on the day, AP Skin will advise whether the alternative is suitable and whether there is enough appointment time. Some treatments require consultation, preparation, patch testing, spacing from other treatments, or avoidance of certain skincare ingredients before they can be carried out.

Treatment suitability and contraindications

Some treatments may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking certain medication, using active skincare ingredients, have recent sun exposure or sunburn, have open wounds, have a skin infection, have had recent injectables or laser treatments, or have a medical condition that affects healing. AP Skin may reschedule, adapt or decline a treatment if it is not clinically appropriate on the day.

Client responsibility before treatment

Please provide accurate consultation information, follow any pre-treatment guidance, arrive with enough time for your appointment, and tell AP Skin about any changes to your skin, health, medication or recent treatments before your appointment begins. This helps keep your treatment safe and personalised.

Emergencies and unavoidable circumstances

AP Skin understands that emergencies happen. If something unavoidable occurs, please contact AP Skin as soon as possible. AP Skin may also need to reschedule an appointment due to illness, safety, product availability, clinic issues or circumstances outside its control. In that situation, AP Skin will offer the earliest suitable alternative appointment.

How to cancel or reschedule

To cancel or reschedule, contact AP Skin as soon as possible by WhatsApp or phone at +353 85 205 4540, or by email at Arianna@apskin.ie. Please include your name, appointment date and treatment where possible.

Policy updates

AP Skin may update this Cancellation Policy as the booking process, waiting-list process, treatment menu or clinic operations develop. The latest version will be available through the Cancellation Policy link on the website.
